Director/PDMR Shareholdings

Ariana Resources plc ("Ariana" or "the Company"), the AIM-listed mineral exploration and development company with joint-venture gold mining operations in Europe, announces that it was informed yesterday that:

Michael de Villiers, Chairman, yesterday

-     purchased 300,000 ordinary shares in his SIPP at an average price of 4.6675 pence;

and

Mrs de Villiers, wife of Michael de Villiers, yesterday

-     purchased 300,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 4.675 pence.

Mr de Villiers now holds 60,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing a holding of 5.5% of the issued share capital.
