General Meeting Results

The Caspian Sunrise board is pleased to report that at the General Meeting held earlier today the Waiver resolution in connection with the acquisition of the West Shalva contract area was passed with independent shareholders casting 329,309,627 (94.09%) votes in favour and 20,667,013 (5.91%) votes against.

Completion of the acquisition is now principally dependent on receipt of the customary Kazakh regulatory approvals.
