Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei unter anderem die Neustrukturierung des Vorstands: Rüdiger Passehl, Mitbegründer und Vorstand der CENIT AG für das Geschäftssegment CAD/CAM- Solutions, wird das Unternehmen zum 31. Dezember 1999 aus persönlichen Gründen verlassen. Die Verantwortlichkeiten im Vorstand wurden entsprechend neu definiert. Danach sind die Ressorts künftig wie folgt verteilt: Falk Engelmann (Finanzen), Norbert Fink (Personal), Hubertus Manthey (Service) und Andreas Schmidt (Vertrieb). Wachstum durch Investitionen “Wir haben die Weichen für die kommenden Jahre ganz klar auf Wachstum gestellt” betont Falk Engelmann, Sprecher des Vorstands. “So setzen wir künftig verstärkt auf internetorientierte Technologien – sowohl im Geschäftssegment e- business als auch in den Segmenten CAD/CAM Solutions und IT-Services. Davon werden wir mittelfristig profitieren und erwarten ein durchschnittliches Wachstum von rund 40 Prozent pro Jahr.” Ferner wird das Stuttgarter Systemhaus seine Internationalisierung weiter vorantreiben. Neben Investitionen in die neu gegründete schweizer Tochter sollen hierzu weitere Akquisitionen beitragen. Ausgehend von den geplanten Investitionen rechnet der Vorstand für das kommende Jahr mit einem operativen Ergebnis von rund 16,5 Millionen DM sowie einem Umsatz von zirka 220 Millionen DM. ———————————————— ———————————————— CENIT AG announces revised plans for the year 2000 – The board of management has been restructured – Investments in Internet technologies and globalisation are to be stepped up CENIT AG Systemhaus released its revised plans for the year 2000 today in Stuttgart. The main item of interest, amongst others, is the restructuring of the board of management: Rüdiger Passehl, co-founder and CENIT AG director responsible for the CAD/CAM Solutions segment, will leave the company on December 31st 1999 for private reasons. Accordingly, board of management responsibilities were newly defined. In future, the divisions will be distributed as follows: Falk Engelmann (Finance), Norbert Fink (Human Resources), Hubertus Manthey (Services) and Andreas Schmidt (Sales). Growth through investments “We have set a clear course for growth in the coming year,” stated Falk Engelmann, spokesman for the board of management. “In future, we shall thus be setting our sights increasingly on Internet-orientated technologies – in the CAD/CAM Solutions and IT Services segments as well as in e-business. We shall benefit from this in the medium term and expect an average growth rate of 40 percent per annum.” Furthermore, the Stuttgart-based systems provider will continue to pursue its globalisation course. New acquisitions as well as investments in its newly founded Swiss subsidiary are to contribute to this. On the basis of planned investments, the board of management expects operative earnings of c. DM 16.5m and sales of about DM 220m in the coming year.
