CENIT realises all-time result in 2005 according to provisional figures
Executive Board proposes a dividend doubling up to 60 cent per share
Stuttgart, February 22, 2006 – According to provisional uncertified figures
CENIT AG Systemhaus obtained a consolidated sales of 74.3 million € (2004:
74.9 million €/-1%). Once again, the service sector increased
significantly, accompanied by an exceedingly positive progress of CENIT-own
software sales. Hardware sales, in comparision, declined considerably by
e.g. 7.2 million € from 21.6 million € in 2004 to e.g. 14,4 million € in
2005. Gross profit improved again by 9% up to 52.3 million € (2004:48
million €). EBITDA is 10 million € (2004: 8.2 million €/22%). EBIT climbed
from 7.5 million € in 2004 by 23 % to e.g. 9.2 million € in the report
period.
CENIT’s Executive Board assumes that the Group’s operative performance will
ameliorate furthermore in 2006 and aims additional gain of market share.
Therefore, CENIT intends to increase the number of employees by 10% in
order to make the base for future growth.
This positive outlook is substantiated by the so far biggest invidual order
that Airbus placed to CENIT early in 2006. At the same time, CENIT signed a
so-called “Prime Supplier Contract” with Airbus Germany that upgrades CENIT
to the status of a preferred IT supplier.
On occasion of this year’s Shareholders’ Meeting, Executive and
Supervisory Board will propose to distribute a dividend of 60 cent per
share (2004: 30 cent per share).
Certified results and figurs of the financial year 2005 will be announced
on occasion of our press conference on financial statements at March 27,
2006.
