Background/Description of the Disclosure

During the Executive Committee Meeting on 16 December 2021, the Committee approved the investment in True Ally Ventures Limited (‘True Ally’), a registered company in the British Virgin Islands, of Four Million Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (P4,200,000.00), resulting in DWC owning 70% of True Ally, while the remaining 30% will be owned by a local partner, Sagesoft Solutions Inc. (SSI).

True Ally marks the further expansion of DWC into the leisure industry, under which its operations and investments are mostly focused in the tourism sector. True Ally will venture into the cryptocurrency and NFT (non-fungible token) space through blockchain gaming and other various related services contributing to building the open metaverse.
