Dahmen thus succeeds Fritz Humer, who has led the company for more than ten years. The hand-over will take place on 7 January 2004. Holger Dahmen previously held the position of President of Hamilton Worldwide, a Swatch Group company, to which he was appointed from his function as President of Swatch USA. The German-born Dahmen holds a degree in business studies and has a long and successful track record in product and brand management and marketing.
