SAMUEL DYER CORIAT APPOINTED EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN AND PABLO TRAPUNSKY APPOINTED CEO OF COPEINCA ASA
In reference to the Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday 20 May 2011 in Oslo
please note it was resolved that Mr. Samuel Dyer Coriat shall be appointed as
Executive Chairman of the Board in order to maintain the required continuity in
the management of the company, Mr. Samuel Dyer Coriat shall thereby, in addition
to the normal duties and responsibility that follows from being the Chairman, be
involved in i) strategic planning decisions and ii) Investor Relations.
In line with this, Pablo Trapunsky, Deputy CEO since November 2007, has now been
appointed as CEO of Copeinca ASA.
As Deputy CEO, Mr. Trapunsky was a key leader in the maximization of synergies
out of Copeinca's acquisitions carried out in 2007, the implementation of the
new ITQ system and all day to day operations.
Mr. Trapunsky holds a B.Sc. degree in Mechanics Engineering with a focus on
Systems of Production, Materials and Robotics from the Technion, Israel
Institute of Technology, and has completed an Executive Development Program at
the Universidad de Piura. He joined Copeinca in 2004 as COO.
He has over 20 years of experience with multinational companies both in Peru and
abroad within the fishmeal sector, in which he specialized since 2003 when he
was chosen to build one of the first modern Steam Dried fishmeal plant in Peru.
