JORGE RAMIREZ IS APPOINTED CFO OF COPEINCA ASA




As of 1 March, Jorge Ramirez is appointed CFO of Copeinca ASA. Eduardo Castro
Mendivil, former CFO since 2006, will now assume a new role as Chief Strategy
Officer.

Mr. Ramirez graduated in Business Administration with a Major in Finance from
Loyola University, New Orleans, USA, with an MBA from ITESM (Mexico) - ESPOL
(Ecuador).  He has vast international experience in Strategic Planning,
Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and International Affairs.  Mr.
Ramirez previously worked for Amanco Group (1995-2008), holding various
positions in Ecuador, Costa Rica and Brazil, his last one being CFO for Latin
America.  Since 2008 he is CFO of Camposol Holding Plc, the leading agro
industrial Company in Peru.
