November 2000 – Der größte konzernunabhängige europäische Fotofinisher, CeWe Color, hat einen entscheidenden Durchbruch in Frankreich erzielt. Zum l. Februar 2001 übernimmt CeWe Color die Firma Konica Photo Service France und steigert damit seinen Marktanteil von 15 auf 20%. Im Geschäftsjahr 1999 erzielte die Konica Photo Service France unter der Führung von Christian Paillot mit ca. 200 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern einen Umsatz von über 40 Mio. DM. Das über 2.000 qm große Fotolabor im Norden von Paris entwickelt an Spitzentagen mehr als 35.000 Filme und produziert pro Jahr mehr als 100 Mio. Fotos. Frankreich ist für die CeWe Color Gruppe der zweitgrößte Markt hinter Deutsch- land. 57 Mio. Einwohner verbrauchen pro Jahr knapp 120 Millionen Filme. Mit 8 Laborstandorten in Frankreich hält CeWe Color einem Marktanteil von bisher ca. 15 % und gehört damit neben Fuji, Kodak und Spector zu den wichtigsten Foto- finishern im französischen Markt. Durch die Übernahme von Konica Photo Service France baut CeWe Color seine Marktposition deutlich aus. Zu den Kunden von Konica zählen u.a. Fotofachgeschäfte und Hypermärkte, wie z. B. Fnac, Photo Station, Monoprix und Leclerc. Daneben ist Konica Photo Service France Markt- führer im Bereich Belegschaftshandel. Hubert Rothärmel, Vorstandsvorsitzender betont, daß durch die Übernahme von Konica Photo Service France viele Synergieeffekte in den Bereichen Produktion, Logistik, EDV, etc. für die CeWe Color Gruppe erzielt werden können, die sich positiv auf die Kosten und den Ertrag niederschlagen. On 1. February 2001, CeWe Color will take over Konica Photo Service France, thus increasing its market share from 15 % to 20 %. In the business year of 1999, Konica Photo Service France, under the management of Christian Paillot, achieved a turnover of more than 40 million DM with a staff of approximately 200. On peak days, the photo laboratory located in the north of Paris with a production space of more than 2,000 square metres, develops more than 35,000 films and produces more than 100 million photos in a year. For CeWe Color, France is the largest market after Germany. A total of 57 million inhabitants use just over 120 million films per year. With a total of eight laboratory locations in France, CeWe Color has a market share of approximately 15 % and, besides Fuji, Kodak and Spector, is therefore one of the most important photofinishers on the French market.
