The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– CeWe Color’s Business Trend Means Growth Oldenburg, December 19, 2002 – Two weeks before the end of this year, the leading European Foto-Finishing Service Provider, CeWe Color Holding AG (SDax; ISIN DE0005403901, WKN 540 390) reported that the company is still on the right track. Sale and turnover of the new digital products and services are continuously developing in a very promising way. In the month of November, CeWe already achieved 6.6 % of its foto-finishing turnover with digital products. (November 2001: 2.8 %). The Christmas business which turned out to be very successful with digital cameras will further push its turnover with digital fotos early next January already. In addition, CeWe Color reports about a successful acquisition in Switzerland. As per January 2nd, 2002, CeWe Color will completely procure MIGROS, the most important Swiss commercial enterprise, as sole distributor with analog and digital photo services in the traditional business as well as via Internet. As a result, CeWe Color’s market share in Switzerland will increase from 15 % up to 25 %. The downturn of the CeWe Color share during the recent days of this week has been triggered by a substantial sale of shares of a private investor due to liquidity requirements. Thanks to the high demand, the complete parcel of shares has been placed and the trade volume with CeWe Color shares ascended to more than 120.000 shares per week during the last weeks. The Management of CeWe Color further on confirms their profit planning of more than 25 million Euro earnings before tax (EBT) (+ 25 % compared to previous year) and considers a future share price of 20,– Euro for the first half of 2003 to be realistic and appropriate.
