In February 2017, Avianca Holdings and its subsidiaries carried 2,326,728 passengers, a 4.1%

increase over the same period in 2016

In February, the subsidiary companies of Avianca Holdings S.A. (NYSE: AVH) (BVC: PFAVH) (*) transported 2,326,728 passengers, an increase of 4.1% compared to February 2016. Capacity, measured in ASKs (available seat kilometers), increased 4.2%, while passenger traffic, measured in RPKs (revenue passenger kilometers), increased 9.1%. The load factor for the month was 80.3%, an increase of 360 bps compared to the same period of 2016.

Domestic markets in Colombia, Peru and Ecuador

In February, the subsidiary airlines of Avianca Holdings transported within each of these markets a total of 1,367,191 travelers, a decrease of 0.3% compared to February 2016. Capacity (ASKs) decreased 3.9% while passenger traffic (RPKs) increased 0.2%. The load factor for the month was 79.3%, an increase of 320 bps compared to the same period of 2016.

International markets

In February, the affiliated airlines of Avianca Holdings transported 959,537 passengers on international routes, up 10.9% compared to February 2016. Capacity (ASKs) increased 6.5%, while passenger traffic (RPKs) increased 11.7%. The load factor for the month was 80.5%, an increase of 370 bps when compared to the same period of 2016.
