| Revenue Recognition | (9) Revenue Recognition Deferred franchise fee revenue included in other liabilities consist primarily of franchise fees which are recognized straight-line over the life of the agreements, and area development fees which are deferred until a new restaurant is opened pursuant to the agreement.
