SW Umwelttechnik raises stake in Hungarian subsidiary Ad-hoc-announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– SW Umwelttechnik acquires a further 46% of environmental Budapest technology company Rocla Hungaria Kft. SW Umwelttechnik – the leading specialist in water conservation and infrastructure products in Central and Eastern Europe – has strengthened its position in Hungary by doubling its interest in environmental technology company Rocla Hungaria Kft. from 46% to 92%. The two sides have agreed to keep the acquisition price confidential. Rocla Hungaria is the Hungarian market leader in reinforced concrete pipes, pumping stations, separators and shaft systems for water conservation purposes, and has a turnover of approx. EUR 5 million (m) and a workforce of 80. The company’s eight hectare site in Budapest is of ample size to serve the entire Hungarian market. SW Umwelttechnik embarked on its expansion and acquisitions in Hungary back in 1990, and in 1995 took a 46 % interest in Rocla and acquired operational control through an indirect holding.
