Miton Group plc ("Company"), the AIM quoted fund management group, announces that Lord Wade of Chorlton has today stepped down as a Non Executive Director of Miton Group plc.
As set out in the 2014 Annual Report, Lord Wade intended to resign after having successfully transferred his responsibilities as Deputy Chairman to Alan Walton.
The Board wish to place on record their deep appreciation for the role Lord Wade played in dealing with the historic issues that arose during a period of considerable change and challenge for the Company.
Ian Dighé, Chairman said,
"Lord Wade's contribution has been significant throughout his time with the Company. He has been an excellent advocate for the interests of shareholders and his wise counsel from his many years of commercial experience has been warmly welcomed. Lord Wade leaves the Board with our immense gratitude."
