Reference is made to the separate press release published by Himalaya Shipping
Ltd. (the "Company") today, regarding the partial exercise of the underwriters'
over-allotment option in connection with the Company's initial public offering
in the US.
The additional 910,000 over-allotment shares have now been issued and the share
capital increase pertaining to these shares has now been registered in the
Company's register of members, on 2 May 2023. The new share capital is US$
40,782,857.
