The Supervisory Board of Directors of Pryme BV ("Pryme", the "Company") appoints Mr. Christopher Hervé as new Chief Executive Officer of Pryme BV, effective May, 2022. He currently serves as Vice President for Eurofins Scientific.
Christopher will join Pryme with more than 10 years of experience in leadership positions in the processing industry. Before Eurofins, he led the operations for Tereos in Indonesia before being promoted to Managing Director of Tereos’ Starch Division. Preceding Tereos, Christopher held positions in Cargill and Lafarge.
Christopher holds a master’s degree in applied economics from the Paris Dauphine University. He also holds a master’s degree in engineering as well as a bachelor in applied economics.
Johannes van der Endt, founder, CEO and Chairman of the board of Pryme said “I have decided to transition to the supervisory board of Pryme because I believe the Company is ready to move on from its founders at the management level. Christopher brings the right mix of entrepreneurial spirit, energy, experience, skills and leadership to Pryme. He is the right leader to take Pryme through the next stage of development and value creation.”
The supervisory board would like to thank Johannes for his visionary leadership and unrelenting belief and dedication to Pryme. Johannes is the founder of Pryme having developed the Company from the early concept stages, through the development phase of the Company’s technology and into the construction phase of its first plant in a little less than 10 years.
Johannes will continue in the CEO role until Christopher comes on board in order to ensure an orderly transition.
The Company has previously announced the appointment of the new CEO, although such announcement did not mention the name and background of the new CEO due to his contractual relationships with his current employer. This announcement complements the CEO announcement from March 11, 2022.
