Pryme N.V. Appoints Guus Lemmers as New Chief Executive Officer

The Supervisory Board of Pryme N.V. is pleased to announce the appointment of Gerardus (“Guus”) Lemmers as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 5, 2025.
Guus Lemmers is a Dutch national bringing over 20 years of experience, of which more than a decade in leading large offshore projects with Petrodec, a Perenco* subsidiary. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Throughout his career, Guus has led a range of large-scale, technically complex projects and has consistently delivered strong operational and strategic results.
In his latest role with Petrodec, Guus has assumed various senior positions including Operations Engineer, Technical Manager, Operations Manager and Project Manager. He was responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of major offshore projects. His leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and navigating complex, first of a kind engineering challenges is particularly aligned with Pryme’s needs.
The Supervisory Board is confident that Guus’ proven track record in project execution and technical leadership will be instrumental in advancing Pryme’s growth ambitions. His experience will support the further development of Pryme One, our first commercial plant, and guide the expansion into future facilities. His comprehensive understanding of technical operations, combined with strategic oversight, makes him well-suited to lead Pryme into its next phase.
Until Guus assumes his role, Benoît Morelle will continue to serve as interim CEO. The Supervisory Board extends its sincere gratitude to Benoît for his exceptional leadership during this transitional period. His science and data-driven approach has significantly enhanced the reliability and technical performance of Pryme One. We are pleased that Benoît will remain available to support a smooth transition.
