Following the meeting of our Company's Board of Directors held on 20/12/2021, GEN has decided to invest USD 1.500.000 in  İstanbul Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. One Life Ventures Venture Capital Investment Fund.

The term of the Fund is 8 (eight) years starting from the First Closing, and the last 3 (three) years of this period is the liquidation period.

The Fund's Investment Committee may consist of a maximum of five (5) members, including four (4) members determined by the Manager (Istanbul Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş.) and one (1) member determined by the A Group Participation Shareholder. A Group Contribution Share in the Fund has been allocated only to GEN, and GEN has the right to appoint one (1) member of the Investment Committee and change the designated member at any time.

Fund's investment strategy and purpose: The Fund mainly invests in pharmacology, biomaterials, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and health-integrated virtual reality technologies, which are in line with Turkey's five-year health investment strategy. Supported initiatives are those that have products that can serve corporate companies and have passed the idea and proof of concept stages. Investment evaluation processes focus on candidates with high growth potential based on their intellectual property rights in health technologies. In addition, initiatives that have reached the scaling up stage, started to generate income, have or seek domestic and international growth opportunities, able to manage intellectual property / know-how, and have teams that can work in harmony in managerial support and mentoring processes are aimed.
