It was announced to the public on 29.07.2024 that a company would be established between Reap Batarya Teknolojileri A.Ş., in which our company is a 100% shareholder, and Great Power, one of the world's most important battery manufacturers and listed as Tier-1 in the BNEF list. The establishment of the company, in which Reap Batarya holds 51% and Great Power 49% shares, has been completed.
Founded in 2001 and having a total capacity of 65 GWh in 9 different facilities as of 2024, the energy storage systems to be produced in our facilities in Tuzla-Orhanlı with the partnership with Greap Power will be offered for sale in strategic markets in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and Europe, especially in Turkey, under the "ReapG" and "Great Power" brands.
Great Power is among the companies on the Tier-1 producer list announced by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF).
Reap Batarya, which is currently making investment in battery energy storage systems with a capacity of 5 GWh at its facilities in Tuzla Orhanlı, has completed the construction of the factory and internal works for the production line are ongoing.
The production line with a capacity of 5 GWh, which has been adapted to Great Power technology and is ready for future technologies (the capacity previously achieved in 2 production lines will be achieved in a single production line), is ongoing and serial production will start in 2025.
