We invested in ARC Clean Technology, a US-based company developing advanced small modular reactor (aSMR) technologies, based on a company valuation of $60.4 million, in line with its energy transition and advanced technology investment strategy.

ARC Clean Technology aims to commercialize and globally deploy its advanced sodium-cooled fast reactor technology, the ARC-100, with a capacity of 100 MWe. The company's activities are supported by institutional stakeholders such as the U.S. Department of Energy, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP), and Canada-based Hatch.

Advanced small modular reactor (aSMR) technologies are expected to be among the complementary technologies meeting the base load demand in global energy systems in the coming period, thanks to their low-carbon and uninterrupted energy production, modular structures, and high safety standards.

Within the scope of this investment, it is anticipated that potential collaboration opportunities in the integration, engineering, and installation of aSMR technologies in Turkey and the region will be evaluated with ARC Clean Technology in the coming period. This investment is strategic in nature, aligning with our Company's goals of early positioning in future energy technologies, access to carbon-free and sustainable energy solutions, and long-term value creation.
