Our subsidiary with 51% share, Defic Globe Enerji A.Ş. (Defic Globe), signed A binding Letter of Intent (EPC conditional Term Sheet) Enda Enerji Holding A.Ş. for the sale of companies owned. These companies own a 54 MWp capacity solar power plant and integrated 80 MWh capacity energy storage systems developed in three separate fields in Romania as well as the turnkey construction of the facilities.
The contract, which includes also development activities such as capacity allocation, land acquisition, and obtaining all necessary permits and licenses, will come into effect once the plants are ready for build, with a total contract value of EUR 47.3 million.
Under the agreement, the engineering services for the power plants, high-voltage substations, the installation of power transmission lines, and the turnkey construction of energy storage systems will be carried out by our Group companies. The energy storage systems to be used in the project will be provided by our group company Reap Batarya A.Ş.
Our company, which previously signed agreements with China's Shanghai Electric Power, Norway's Scatec, and Switzerland's Pakua Capital to jointly build a 419 MWp capacity solar power plant in Romania, is determined to continue its global growth in the renewable energy sector with this new EUR 47.3 million agreement.
Aiming to have 1 GW of assets in renewable energy by 2030 and to develop and sell 1 GW of assets, our company is expanding its operations in different regions around the world.
