In our Company's public disclosure dated June 6, 2024, we shared that:
(i)
We planned to undertake a Hybrid Solar Power Plant ("Hybrid SPP") investment with an installed capacity of up to 20 MW on the existing land of the RWE & Turcas Güney Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. ("RTG"), in which we hold a 30% stake and which owns and operates the 800 MW Denizli Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant; and
(ii)
The existing Electricity Generation License had been amended by EMRA to include this new 20 MW Hybrid SPP to be built from the ground up.
A final investment decision has been made regarding the Hybrid SPP, and an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract has been signed with a third party. The total investment amount for the 20 MW Hybrid SPP is expected to be approximately USD 8 million (excluding VAT), and the plant is targeted to be operational in mid-2026.
This investment, which will be financed through RTG's internal resources, will diversify our energy subsidiary's generation portfolio with a renewable, competitive, and sustainable resource, will increase its total capacity to 820 MW.
Further developments on the matter will be shared with the public.
Best Regards.
