Création Tapeten AG, Germany’s biggest wallpaper manufacturer, has changed significantly. 3i Gesellschaft für Industriebeteiligungen mbH, Frankfurt a.M., disposed of its shareholding in A.S. Création Tapeten AG which still amounted to 21.3% (or 637,503 shares) on May 6, 2004, the date of A.S. Création Tapeten AG’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. The shares were placed with different investors under the lead management of Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. KGaA and are now part of the company’s free float. 3i had been a shareholder of A.S. Création Tapeten AG since 1990. After these changes, the current shareholder structure is as follows: Mr and Mrs Schneider 40.5% A.S. Création Wallpaper Foundation 5.0% Own shares 7.2% Free float 47.3% Based on the current share price of approximately EUR 23.30, A.S. Création Tapeten AG’s market capitalisation based on the free float amounts to approximately EUR 33.1 million. According to the so-called free float ranking of Deutsche Börse AG of November 30, 2004, the five smallest companies currently listed in the SDAX have a market capitalisation based on the free float of between EUR 23.3 million and EUR 30.3 million. The basis for the targeted renewed inclusion in the SDAX has hence considerably improved.
