The Sarıtepe Hybrid Solar Power Plant (SPP) Project, with an installed capacity of 12.96 MW, (with license number EÜ/9381-16/04536 issued by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority), located in Osmaniye and owned by İmbat Enerji A.Ş., a subsidiary of our company, Akfen Yenilenebilir Enerji A.Ş., has completed the provisional acceptance in compliance with regulations, of its first part with a 3.95 MW installed capacity by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Turkey as of 26.12.2024, and has commenced commercial energy generation.
Akfen Renewable Energy, in line with its investment program, has begun commissioning the first phase of its investments, consisting of hybrid SPP and wind power plant (WPP) capacity increase projects totaling 188 MW. As of 26 December 2024, the company has reached a total installed capacity of 703 MW in renewable energy power plants through its subsidiaries.
Upon the completion of the hybrid SPP investments and additional WPP capacity increases under the first phase investments, the company aims to achieve approximately 887 MW of capacity in 2025.
