It has been observed that certain media outlets have published misleading news claiming that the "Evkaftepe Wind Power Plant and Energy Storage Facility" project, planned to be carried out in the Akhisar district of Manisa by our subsidiary Ral Enerji A.Ş., has been cancelled.
The project, which has a preliminary license and is being carried out by our 51% subsidiary Ral Enerji A.Ş., consists of a Wind Power Plant with an installed capacity of 24 MWm and an Energy Storage Facility with a capacity of 48 MWe / 48 MWh. As a result of the Technical Interaction Analyses (TEA) conducted within the scope of the project, a need for a site change has arisen. Accordingly, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) application file related to the current site has been withdrawn by Ral Enerji A.Ş. and this request has been deemed appropriate by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
A new EIA application will be submitted in accordance with the relevant legislation for the newly determined site, and
the project has not been cancelled.
Therefore, the works related to the mentioned project are ongoing as planned, and the news reports suggesting
a "project cancellation" do not reflect the truth.
This statement is provided for the information of the public and our investors.
