Disclosure of large shareholding in Seadrill Limited
("the Company") under section 4 of the securities
trading act.
This notification relates to the ordinary shares
("the shares") of the Company.
We hereby notify you that on 16 April 2014 Morgan
Stanley & Co.LLC acquired an interest in the shares
through a stock borrowing agreement that resulted in
our having a disclosable interest in 5,339,495
shares, being approximately 1.14% of the issued share
capital of the Company.
In addition and as at the same date, Morgan Stanley
Smith Barney LLC held an interest of 18,588,351
shares, being approximately 3.96% of the issued share
capital of the Company and Bank Morgan Stanley AG
held an interest of 22,916 shares, being
approximately 0.005% of the issued share capital of
the Company.
As a result Morgan Stanley held a total interest of
23,950,762 shares being approximately 5.10% of the
issued share Capital of the Company.
