Fabasoft AG (ISIN AT0000785407, WKN 922985, Prime Standard) announces
preliminary Group figures for the first half of the fiscal year 2007/2008
(1/4/2007-30/9/2007):

- Sales revenues EUR 9.9 million (EUR 9.4 million in the first half of the
fiscal year 2006/2007)
- EBITDA EUR -0.1 million (EUR 0.3 million in the first half of the fiscal
year 2006/2007)
- EBIT EUR -1.2 million (EUR -0.6 million in the first half of the fiscal
year 2006/2007)
- Cash flow from operating activities EUR -2.0 million (EUR -2.9 million in
the first half of the fiscal year 2006/2007)
- Cash and cash equivalents: EUR 17.4 million as of 30/9/2007 (EUR 17.6
million as of 30/9/2006)
- Number of employees: 188 as of 30/9/2007 (214 as of 30/9/2006)

Sales revenues amounted to EUR 4.6 million during the second quarter
(1/7/2007-30/9/2007) of the fiscal year 2007/2008 (EUR 5.0 million in the
same period of the previous year). The EBIT of the second quarter amounted
to EUR -0.7 million (EUR 0.2 million in the same period of the previous
year).

Sales revenue and EBIT have been affected negatively by the fact that
significant license activations, which had required preparatory marketing
and sales activities in the reporting period, could not be effected in the
period under review.
