Sunrise launches Home Security offer for comprehensive, professional protection at home

Anyone looking for a comprehensive security solution for their home in the past found themselves faced with a dilemma: either they opted for a do-it-yourself solution in the lower price segment and designed and installed a security system themselves. Or they opted for a professional, comprehensive solution from well-known providers that came with a hefty price tag. The Sunrise Home Security offer sits right in the middle.
Sunrise Home Security is available with two different subscription options: Basic for self-managed all-round protection and Complete for a professionally supported Home Security solution that includes installation, on-site intervention by a security service and Home Assistance insurance. You can switch from Home Security Basic to Home Security Complete free of charge at any time.

Both subscriptions, Home Security Basic and Home Security Complete, require the Home Security set costing CHF 289.90 (consisting of base station, keypad, key fob for remote control, contact sensors, photo motion detectors, smart plug, security stickers). Other devices, such as indoor and outdoor cameras, video doorbell, smoke alarms and solar panels can be bought as additional options. The Home Security set and additional devices can be acquired as part of a device plan: for example, with a down payment of CHF 1.00 followed by 24 monthly payments.
A landline Internet connection is also required. This may be offered by a different provider and not necessarily by Sunrise.
During the initial launch phase , both Home Security subscriptions are available with a CHF 10/month price reduction (Sunrise Home Security Basic for CHF 19.90/month; Sunrise Home Security Complete for CHF 29.90/month; the minimum contract period of 12 months is unchanged) and the Home Security set is available with a CHF 60 discount at CHF 229.90.
Intuitive app for worldwide control
The Sunrise Home Security app is a versatile solution that allows you to control and personalise your alarm system. Your home can be viewed and secured around the clock from anywhere. Lighting routines that simulate presence are also set with the app. Control can also be set by means of intelligent geofencing. Geofencing uses a smartphone’s location to turn the alarm system on or off automatically. As soon as the smartphone reaches or leaves a predefined radius, the system is activated or deactivated automatically.
Consultation and installation at home
During home consultations, technicians check for possible security gaps, determine the best location for the devices and recommend additional devices if necessary. The security devices are professionally installed, their full functionality is tested and an introduction to the system is given. The Home Security Complete subscription includes consultation and installation costs, while these services cost CHF 150 with the Home Security Basic subscription.
Swiss Alarm Guard attendance on site
The Swiss Alarm Guard service is a certified regional Swiss security service provider that is ready to deploy around the clock. If an alarm is triggered, professional security personnel will be on site within 30 minutes. Once on site, the security guard will assess the situation, call the police if necessary, stay on site until someone arrives, create a report and upload it to the app. The Home Security Complete subscription includes two call-outs per year. This service is not offered with the Home Security Basic subscription.
Sunrise Home Assistance from insurance partner Zurich
If there is an emergency or an incident, such as a break-in at home, Sunrise Home Assistance insurance partner Zurich will organise professional help quickly and efficiently – around the clock. After a break-in, this may include a 24/7 emergency contact and immediate help from a specialist. Insurance partner Zurich also covers the costs of psychological treatment. If a house key is lost or a resident locks themself out of their home, a locksmith will be called out to assist promptly. Sunrise Home Assistance together with insurance partner Zurich also offer help to building or apartment owners in the event of a fault with the heating, air-conditioning, ventilation, elevator and sanitary systems, as well as with the fuse box.
The new Sunrise Home Security offers are now available in the Sunrise online shop, via the Sunrise sales hotline and in Sunrise shops. It is possible to view the devices and test a demo version of the app in Sunrise shops. The new Sunrise Home Security offers are also available from selected branches of Sunrise sales partners, such as Mobilezone and specialist retailers.
