lastminute.com delivers resilient H1 with revenue
growth despite softer European travel market
FY Outlook: Full-year revenue guidance changed to mid-single-digit growth following softer Q2 trading; Adjusted EBITDA guidance updated to a range of mid-single digits to approximately 10%, reflecting recent trading dynamics.
Amsterdam/Chiasso, 30 July 2026 – lastminute.com N.V. (“lastminute.com”) today published its unaudited results for the first half of 2026. Revenues grew 4% year-on-year to €189.7m, with strong Flight sales and resilient late-booking demand for Packages underpinning the performance in a period when much of the European travel sector came under top-line pressure .
Trading in the second quarter reflected an industry-wide shift toward shorter booking windows amid Middle East-related uncertainty, with bookings made within six weeks of departure rising year-on-year while longer-lead bookings softened. Consequently, revenues in the second quarter declined by 2% to EUR 91.4m. Backed by resilient underlying demand, the Group's flexible model is well positioned to capture late-booking momentum for summer Packages across Southern and Central Europe. Extraordinary cancellation and reprotection costs arising from the Middle East disruption have been classified below Adjusted EBITDA, with Q1 restated on the same basis.
Alessandro Petazzi, Chief Executive Officer of lastminute.com, the European leader in Dynamic Holiday Packages, said:
"The first half of 2026 showed the strength of our multi-product business model. During a softer second quarter, shaped by broader geopolitical uncertainty and shifting booking patterns, the breadth of our model across European markets allowed us to adapt quickly. First-half revenue grew 4% whilst many across the industry faced real top-line pressure. What we saw in the second quarter reflected the macro environment, not a change in the appetite to travel. That resilience, together with a lower cost base, is why we look to the rest of the year with confidence and remain firmly focused on growing profitability.’’

Strategic Developments
lastminute.com's approach to becoming an AI powered travel company is built on shared foundations - a common knowledge and context layer, reusable AI services, and centralised governance - on which teams across the business build and deploy their own AI applications safely and at scale. This is already producing live results: the Group's Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server makes its full Flight and Dynamic Package inventory bookable by AI agents inside Claude and ChatGPT today; user-level personalisation is live across all markets; and internal tools that once took months are now built in days.
Financial Outlook
In light of a temporary shift in booking behaviour during the second quarter, the Group has updated its full-year outlook to reflect a more prudent view. However, trading momentum has improved, with travel recovering from the softer April and May period and positive trends already visible in June and July trading.
Full-year guidance 3 is updated as follows:
Revenue growth changed to mid-single-digit
Adjusted EBITDA updated in the range of mid-single digits to approximately 10%
The updated outlook reflects recent market dynamics, alongside the Group’s continued focus on a lower cost base and improving booking momentum.
Implementation of the June reorganisation is proceeding to plan and remains on track for completion around year-end 2026, with the associated structural benefits expected from 2027.
