Stolt-Nielsen Limited Purchased 9,000 of its Common Shares

On December 7, 2010, Stolt-Nielsen Limited purchased
9,000 of its own Common Shares (SNI) on the Oslo
Stock Exchange at an average price of NOK 119.8897
per share. The shares were purchased in accordance
with the buy-back programme announced on November 19,
2010.

In addition, employees of Stolt-Nielsen Limited
exercised options to acquire a total of 3,750 Common
Shares of Stolt-Nielsen Limited, which option
exercises were satisfied out of Common Shares held by
Stolt-Nielsen Limited.

After these transactions Stolt-Nielsen Limited holds
4,516,023 own shares, representing 7.04% of the
number of issued Common Shares.
