Questerre CEO Michael Binnion presents to Parliament

Last week, Michael Binnion, Questerre President and
CEO presented as a witness to the Standing Committee
on Natural Resources at the House of Commons in
Ottawa, Canada.

The Committee agreed to begin a study on energy
security in Canada including looking at (A) what the
federal role in unconventional oil and gas
development, such as deepwater offshore drilling,
shale gas exploration, and oil sands development, may
be; (B) regional economic impacts of oil and gas
development; and (C) the National Energy Board's role
in the development and export of the unconventional
resources; and that the Committee report its findings
to the House of Commons.
