Extraordinary General Meeting decides to rename the company TX Group
Zurich, 20 December 2019 – At today’s Extraordinary General Meeting of Tamedia the shareholders approved the agenda with an overwhelming majority. The most important article concerned the company’s new name TX Group. The Board of Directors and the Management Board thanked the shareholders for their continued confidence.
As already announced on 26 November 2019, a decentralised, holding-like organisation with four largely independent companies – TX Markets, Goldbach, 20 Minuten and Tamedia – will be established under the umbrella of TX Group, effective 1 January 2020. Each individual company will have its own management and its own Board of Directors. TX Group is a network of media and platforms offering information, orientation, entertainment and services, used by over 80 percent of the Swiss population every day.
